Video On-demand Video Assets

Overview 

The Eventfinity Video On-demand (VOD) feature allows for the on-demand viewing of videos and video playlists. Video assets added to the VOD menu include the ability to set the video poster, video chapters, and closed captioning. Event managers can use the VOD feature to post previously streamed content and video playlists for related content. 

Adding Video Assets 

1. Under the Streaming | VOD menu click "Video Assets"

2. On the Video Assets page, click the "+ Add Video Asset" button

3. In the pop-up modal, enter the “Title” of the video as you want it to appear in the library and then, click "Submit"

4. On the next page, drag your MP4 video file to the "Upload Video" box and then click "Upload"

5. Enter a summary reflecting the video's content in the "Description" box

6. OPTIONAL: Click "Edit Poster" if you want to change the static image that is displayed in the video frame before the video play button is clicked.

7. You will have two options "Choose From Video" and "Upload". To upload a custom poster image, upload a 640 x 360 jpg or png file in the upload modal and click OK.

8. To choose a different frame from the video click "Choose From Video"

9. The "Time" is in seconds. So if your poster frame is located at 1 min and 30 seconds into the video, enter 90

10. Click "Save"
