Overview

Adding VTT files to VOD video assets offers several significant benefits, enhancing the viewing experience and accessibility of video content.

Adding Video Text Tracks (VTT)

1. Navigate to Content | Assets and click "+ New Asset"

2. Click the Asset Type and select "File"

3. Browse or drag and drop your VTT file here in “Upload Asset”

4. Click the "Asset Name" field to enter the file name. If no name is entered, the asset will default to the file name.

5. Click "Save"

6. Toggle the "Is Private" button to off to make the asset public

7. Copy the URL for the VTT asset

8. Return to Streaming | VODs | Video Assets and open the video for editing

9. Scroll down and click "Add Asset Track"

10. Click the dropdown box and choose the language for the track, and then click "Add Language". NOTE: only one language track file can be uploaded at a time.

11. From the copied URL in step 8, paste the URL here.

12. Click "Upload Asset Track"

13. Click "Save"
