Session Timeout Settings
Updated September 16, 2024
Overview
The session timeout is a security feature that automatically logs users out after a certain period of inactivity. This protects sensitive information and prevents unauthorized access if the user forgets to log out or leaves the session open on a shared or public device.
The session length in minutes field determines how long a user can stay logged into an event session before requiring a user to log in again.
The default for Eventfinity Events is 480 minutes, 8 hours.
