Creating & Editing Attendees
Via Dashboard (excluding adding attendees via registration forms) attendees can be added in the following ways:
- Creating a new attendee in the admin panel via a long form
- Using the Quick Add modal to add attendees
- Importing attendees from an excel sheet
Attendees are unique by email address and email address can only be used once. Once an attendee has been added/created, all information can be edited except for the user’s email address.
By default, the quick add attendee modal will have First Name, Last Name, Email and Attendee Type. To customize the fields that show up here, go to Attendees > Attendee Settings > Attendee Fields and check off the "Quick Add" checkbox on any field it's available on.
Attendees can be edited in the admin panel by:
- Going into an individual attendee profile edit page
- Clicking on the cell to edit in the attendee list table (inline edit only works on some fields - eg you will not be able to edit attendee type this way, or edit automated information like the updated at timestamp)
- Executing a batch update by selecting the attendees to edit and clicking the Batch Update button. This will only be helpful if you're updating multiple attendees to have the same value for a field
- Importing attendee information from an excel sheet
