Eventfinity Browser and Technical Requirements

General Recommendations
Using a modern web browser is recommended for an optimal experience during a live virtual event. Eventfinity is fully optimized on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, and we recommend using the latest release version of those browsers to access our platform for the best user experience. Additionally, for the best experience, unless you have been instructed otherwise, it is recommended to use a performant desktop or laptop computer with a stable internet connection to view the event site and content.
Specific Browser Recommendations
Eventfinity is optimized for modern web browsers running their most up-to-date release version. A list of browser recommendations categorized by device type is found below:

Network Strength and Internet Speed
For the best event experience possible, connect to the event using a strong network connection with stable speed. A wired connection is preferred when possible. A minimum download speed of 15mbps is recommended. You may test your network connection here.
VPN Usage
It is not recommended to access the virtual event while connected to a VPN, as this may negatively impact your overall viewing experience. If you are experiencing any technical issues and are currently connected to a VPN, please disconnect from the VPN and refresh the page to attempt to resolve the issue.
Browser and App Permissions
When you first visit the event website or install the event app, you will be asked to grant browser notification permissions. It is recommended that you grant browser and app permissions about the event site when prompted to ensure that all content and messages are displayed correctly.
Mobile App Requirements
An up-to-date operating system is required if you use a mobile app to access the event. The minimum versions for mobile apps are:
- iOS: 16 or higher
- Android: 13 or higher
