Scheduled Notifications Importer

To Import New or Update An Existing Event Scheduled Notification

Download the template found here https://dashboard.eventfinity.co/events/23191/imports/SCHEDULED_NOTIFICATIONS/template or by going to Dashboard > Data Imports > Importer > + Create Import > Scheduled notifications import > Download Template

Use a spreadsheet editor (MS Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers) to open the template to create a new file by revising and filling in each of the appropriate columns (name, notification_type, message_title, message_text, send_date, send_time, send_ids)

Notes:

  • name field must be unique and is required. This is the name of the notification for internal purposes
  • If you need to revise an existing notification via import, you must use the name given to the original notification
  • notification_type is required and must be one of "group", "individual" or "event"
    • "group" type must include comma delimited group ids for each group in the send_ids column
    • "individual" type must include comma delimited attendee ids for each attendee in the send_ids column
    • "event" type the send_ids column must be left blank
  • message_title is the title of the notification that will be sent
  • message_text is the text that will be sent
  • send_date is the date that the notification will be sent. Date is based on America / New York timezone (EST)
  • send_time is the time that the notification will be sent. Time is based on 24 hour structure, example 6:00pm EST would be 18:00
  • send_ids is required only if selecting "group" or "individual" notification_type and must include comma delimited attendee ids for each attendee - Easily find event attendee IDs by visiting attendee page; then click on "Export Results with Visible Columns"
    • When using MS excel cells that are comma separated and numerical may convert the data and upload incorrectly
